Country-rock duo Montgomery Gentry's hot single, "Where I Come From" is making its way up the charts, landing in the Top 15 this week (#13 on Billboard and #14 on Mediabase). The energetic song, which has a similar feel one of their biggest hits, "My Town," and is the lead single from their seventh studio album, Rebels on the Run, on their new label, Average Joe's Entertainment.
T-Roy and Eddie will be making several media appearances in support of their single, and their ACM nomination for Country Duo. On March 31st, the day before the ACM Awards, the guys will appear on "CBS This Morning," where they will perform "Where I Come From," and "Good Ol' Boys (Dukes of Hazzard Theme Song,)" from the newly released tribute album, Waylon: The Music Inside Volume II. Later that same evening, they'll appear on Fox News Channels "Huckabee." And, while in New York City, they'll tape a performance for the nationally syndicated show "The Better Show." The airdate for their appearance on "The Better Show" has not been announced yet.
Tune in to the 47th Annual ACM Awards on April 1st, live from the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas, on KOVR Channel 13 in Sacramento, starting from 8:00 pm, to find out if Montgomery Gentry can unseat reigning Country Duo of the Year Sugarland.
