Coming to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds this year on August eighth and playing out until the sixteenth there will be a fair coming to town. Montgomery Village is where the fair will be taking place, off of I-270 and 355 in the heart of Montgomery Village.
Some of the special events that require additional ticketing for are: The Tractor Pull, The Monster Truck Pull (which includes riding in some of the main cars) The Demo Derby and Pro Wrestling. Activities that are not on a special ticket authority as always are visiting the agriculture and the animal centers, Old MacDonald Barn, The Moo-ternity Ward which is in actuality a Milking Parlor, which will provide flavored milk for the children.
The Fair begins on Friday, August Eigth at 9:00 a.m.. Many concessions will be available for the entire family. The location is sixteen Chestnut Street in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
There will be a huge section of rides in the carnival part of the fair. Ferris wheels, and swings and lots of rides that go round and round and upside down and will scare you immensely. The grounds are not big enough for an entire roller coaster. All day wristbands cost fifteen dollars and there is no limit to the amount of rides you may partake on with the wristband.
Come on out and have fun for the whole family. Some of the money is donated to local charities and the concessions are made from some of the produce from local farmers and bakers. See the website for more information.
