Montgomery County cats seek new forever homes

A 2-year-old Siamese-tortie mix named Juliet is just one of many cats available for adoption from the Montgomery County Humane Society. Juliet is currently in a foster home, where she has earned the nickname Snoopy for her desire to constantly explore new things. When not exploring, Juliet enjoys typical cat activities like chasing bugs, watching the birds outside the window, and napping. She also likes to lie in someone’s lap and purr as she soaks up attention. Juliet is very friendly and enjoys meeting new people or helping people she already knows as they read the paper or work on the computer. She has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on her shots. Juliet would do best as an only cat in a home without young children. For more information or to meet Juliet, contact her foster, Susan, at susancutler@starpower.net.

Meet more adoptable cats in the slide show at left. For more information on any of them, contact the Montgomery County Humane Society at 240-773-5960. You can also visit the shelter cats at 14645 Rothgeb Drive in Rockville. The shelter is open weekdays (except Wednesdays) from noon to 7:00 p.m. and weekends from noon to 5:00 p.m.
