Out this morning is the lineup for the 57th annual Monterey Jazz Festival, set for September 19-21 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. Arena and Grounds Packages go on sale May 12 and single-day tickets on June 26.

Gary Clark Jr. and Ana Popovic: Looks like we finally get to hear blues again on Saturday afternoon.
Booker T. Jones: Always a pleasure to catch this fellow Indiana University graduate in action.
Christian McBride Trio: Move heaven and earth to hear this giant talent with a small ensemble in a small venue.
Billy Childs: Look for Shawn Colvin to provide the vocals on the Lauro Nyro project.
Blue Note Records: The label that all but defines jazz turns 75 and gets feted Monterey style.
