It's true. Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are back. Along with Randall Boggs, Celia Mae, Henry J. Watternoos III and Jeff Fungus. Don't remember these names? Well you should. The lead characters from 2001's hit Pixar film, Monsters, Inc, are coming back to the big screen this summer in Monsters University, a brand new 3D Pixar flick.
The story for the new Monsters film revolves around a young Sully and Mike, ten years before the first Monsters, Inc movie. It is the story of their college days, fraternity pranks and all, as they prepare to become top scarers for Monsters, Inc. All of the original voice talent is back with Kelsey Grammer taking over for James Coburn as Henry J. Waternoose III, since Coburn passed away in 2002.
If you can't wait for the new film to hit the theater's this summer, then you simply have to check out the amazing Monsters University website. It's a fully interactive and amazingly complete college-style website for the University itself.
There is plenty of information on student policies, “Monsters University is proud of its diversity, with monsters from every background and nationality. By valuing the uniqueness of every individual monster, MU hopes to create an atmosphere of open-mindedness and understanding.”
Admission policies, “With the top scaring program in the country, along with four other academically rigorous schools (including notable programs in scream energy, door technology, and business), MU's academics are second-to-none,”
Even athletics, “The MU faithful were put to the test last year, losing the conference championship with a "Hail Scary" pass from Fear Tech.”
