Monster Jam Crushes Hartford

See also

Monster Jam, the world’s premier Monster Truck series, roared into the XL Center in Hartford last night. Some of the biggest names in the sport like Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, Illuminator, Heavy Hitter, RiverCat, Thrasher, Higher Education, and Iron Warrior put on an amazing show. There was plenty of high flying, car crushing action that had the crowd on their feet the entire night. The crowd was also treated to quad wars, where two teams of atv riders raced around the arena bumping and pasing each other for the win. In the end Team Hartford took the win over Team Worchester.

The Monster trucks which are approximately 12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide are custom-designed machines that sit on 66-inch-tall tires and weigh at least 10,000 pounds. They generate 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower and are able to reach speeds of up to 100 miles per hour. They can also fly up to 125 to 130 feet long and 35 feet high.

Make sure to check out this great show when it rolls into an arena near you. For more info and dates check out
