While Nintendo revealed Thursday when "Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate" for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS would arrive on store shelves, Capcom announced when the demo for both devices would arrive. The publisher also detailed the chat options that will be available for the home console version.
"Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate" is arriving for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on March 19 with an option to purchase and download the game from the eShop. Prospective hunters can try it out earlier when a demo releases on Feb. 21 though. Details on the contents of the demo have not yet been made available.
Wii U owners will be able to go online and play with others in "Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate" so they will need a way to communicate. The action RPG will support voice chat using a headset or players can type out text messages using a virtual keyboard on the GamePad or by plugging a USB keyboard into the console. A day one update will enable chat features.
Capcom also announced that it will be shutting down the "Monster Hunter Tri" servers for the Wii on April 30.
