‘Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’ coming in March, demo available in February (Photos)

On Thursday, Capcom USA confirmed the official release date for their upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS title, “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate”, as well as the date when gamers can expect to see a demo on both systems.

In “Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate”, players take on the role of a hunter sent on a journey to explore a settlement within the vast “Monster Hunter” universe. Players will have to hunt down vicious monsters and complete over 200 quests in what Capcom says is the most expansive offering to date.

Gamers will be able to play the game alone or with up to four friends online through the Wii U or locally using up to four 3DS systems, or a combination of up to three 3DS systems and one Wii U. The Wii U version will fully support voice chat functionality.

“Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate” will be available in stores for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on Mar. 19, 2013 in North America and across Europe on Mar. 22, 2013, the full game will be offered for digital purchase on both systems during this launch timeframe. A free demo of the game will be available for both systems on Feb. 21, 2013.
