Monopoly and Risk overrun by The Walking Dead

Park St. may never be seen at the same value again. At least withstanding under a zombie apocalypse.

Monopoly and Risk have undergone thematic adaptations from pop cultural phenomenons before; Star Wars branding for both is one of the largely well-knowns. In Sept., the comic book sensation will deliver their versions on the two classic games by Parker Bros., a division of Hasbro.

The two famous vintage games will be far from a fully unfamiliar gameplay, a press release relays.

The board game of real estate accruement gets zombie-fied in Monopoly: The Walking Dead Survival game. The twist in the over 100 years-old game will set players to compete for safe grounds that can be fortified and stocked with resources rather than renovations and houses.

Risk: The Walking Dead Survival Edition switches an international map-faced board and transports the contested territories into the United State’s Southeast. On this board players will face-off versus one another and swarms of Walkers.

In both dice-roller board games the token pieces, cards and other game accessories will be adjusted in order to match the zombie survival backdrop and endgame.

Risk: The Walking Dead Survival Edition and Monopoly: The Walking Dead Survival Edition will be available exclusively through Diamond Distributor.

Sept. marks the month the pair of these zombie revised versions will release.
