Monograms are back - and bigger than ever. The stitched or often engraved letters are a personal touch that makes an ordinary item unique to its owner.

While gold and silver are considered safe buys, new materials like acrylic and tortoise are a fun twist and common choice for women. New mother and pop icon, Beyonce, recently instagrammed a monogrammed necklace with her daughters name "Blue." She was also spotted courtside at a Lakers game wearing a Stella McCartney monogram-embroidered blouse – which, thanks to B, is sold out on the designer’s website.
