“Money doesn’t grow on trees,” ” you have to work hard for your money,” “I can’t afford it right now,” “money is the root of all evil,” “I’m not made of money.” Do any of these statements sound familiar? Wouldn’t you rather say to your children “How would you like to have a money tree?” or “make your money work hard for you” or “is that the best use of my money right now?"
Learning your money blueprint or financial education is one of the most important things you need to learn. There are people that have won the lottery for tens of thousands of dollars and others millions, only to lose it and return to the financial status that they were in before they had won the money. Then there are millionaires or billionaires that have lost most or all of their money and have made it all back.
The difference is their money blueprint, what their thoughts and beliefs are about money. What they have been taught about money and how to handle it. Take the time to recognize your own blueprint. Think about what you heard or were told when you were growing up as a child. If you’re not in the financial place you want to be, then you need to know why and change it.
The money blueprint is explained in depth in T. Harv Ekers book Secrets of the millionaire mind.
Your unseen world or inner world creates your outer world.
We live in a world of cause and effect.
Wealth principle: Money is a result, wealth is a result, health is a result, your weight is a result. Learn the principles of positive thoughts towards money. The results will be a money tree and your money working hard for you; and by the way … money is not the root of all evil.
Make a conscious effort to learn about dividend paying stocks and talk to a broker. If you haven’t started a retirement account, start one. Talk to a financial advisor to teach you how to get out of debt and stay out. Make sure the advisor covers all aspects of your finances which includes, but is not limited to taxes, investing, type of mortgage, debt and life insurance. Once you have it under control then teach your children this blueprint.
