The Tucson Museum of Art is hosting a series of three Mondays at the Museum events starting on March 4, 2013. Each Monday at the Museum event features different food and wine pairings. The events also feature guided tours of current museum exhibits. The cost for each event is $50 ($30 is tax deductible) or $140 ($80 tax deductible) for all 3. Tickets can be purchased by calling 520-624-2333.
The March 4, 2013 Monday at the Museum will feature food and wine pairings selected by Ryan Clark, who is a chef at the Lodge on the Desert. The guided tour will be of the "Desert Grasslands" exhibit.
The March 11, 2013 Monday at the Museum will feature American West wines selected by Yvonne Foucher, owner of CataVinos Wine Shoppe. The wines will be paired with food selected by Annette Hartman of Amelia Grey’s Cafe and Annette Hartman Catering. The guided tour will be of "Elements in Western Art: Water Fire, Air and Earth."
The March 18, 2013 Monday at the Museum will feature wines from female winemakers selected by Yvonne Foucher. The wine will be paired with food selected by Marcela Davila-Barley, co-owner of Little Cafe Poca Cosa. The guided tour will be of "Femininia: Images of the Feminine from Latin America."
About the Tucson Museum of Art: This museum is located at 140 N. Main Avenue, Tucson, AZ. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday; and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for general, $8 for seniors (65+), $5 for college students, and free for members, high school students, ages 18 and under, and active military or veteran with ID. The first Sunday of every month is free for everyone.
