Monday Listings: Back to school, indeed

Extra-curricular activities are definitely back in New England this week!  The theme is decidedly "Back to School," whether that means a kinky book discussion group, a talk on how to present poly to non-poly groups, a how-to on tying people up, giving fabulous oral sex or playing messy, or a workshop on increasing the love and intimacy in your life.  So much learning opportunity, so little let's get on with it!

Tonight from 7-9 pm at Christopher's Bar and Grill in Cambridge, Boston TNG hosts the Kinky Book Club, discussing Covering: The Hidden Assault on Our Civil Rights by Kenji Yoshino.  See TNG's calendar for more details on the event.

Out in Northampton at the same time, the Human Awareness Institute will host a free introductory workshop called Creating More Love and Intimacy in Your Life.  No pre-registration required; show up at 39 Main St, 3rd Flr (above Lucky’s Tattoo), in Northampton, MA at 7 pm.

Tuesday from 6:30-9 at the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall, kinksters meet for the twice-monthly BDSM Munch.  This is an 18+ event; all adults welcome.

At the Diesel that same evening, the poly folk will gather as usual, starting around the time work gets out.

Later that evening, Megan Andelloux is back to teach Fabulous Fellatio from 8-10 at Good Vibrations in Brookline.  $20 in advance, $25 at the door; see their website for how to order tickets.

On Wednesday night from 6:30-9, Choice Social Club in Providence will hold a Ropes Class.  $10 gets you in.

Thursday September 16 is the first iteration of the revival of the Poly Discussion Group, taking place from  7:30-10:30 at a home in Melrose every third Thursday of the month.  This month the topic is Types of Poly/Poly Architecture.  Get on the Poly Boston mailing list for details and directions!

Thursday is also a good night for kinksters, with two events in the same space in the same night.  From 6-7:15 it's Yoga for Kinksters at 119 Braintree St, Ste 208 in Allston.  And from 8-10 in the same space, MissKasi and piekitty will teach a class in Messy Play.  So show up, get limber, go grab a bite to eat and then come back with leftovers to throw on each other.

Choice will also hold its usual weekly party on Saturday night.   Can you guess the theme...?  That's right, it's Back To School Open House.  Discounted entry on this night; see the site for more detail.

And on Sunday, Family Tree will hold a Discussion Group: Presenting Polyamory to Non-Poly Organizations, at 4pm in Londonderry, NH
