Moms Spa Night Out, Hosted by Urban Mom Squad

Urban Moms Squad's Moms Spa Night Out, was held on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Eileen Fisher on 395 West Broadway, in New York City, where guests received a $25 discount off any purchase.   It was a real treat for lucky guests who got pampered by a wonderful team of Aveda beauty experts who offered a variety of beauty & spa treatments.   Busy moms finally had the opportunity to relax and socialize over delicious hors d'oeuvres, champagne, cocktails, and indulge in a delectable chocolate tasting from Gnosis Chocolate.    Darcey Howard, professional stylist, shared her thoughts about easy-to-implement ideas on adding some excitement to your wardrobe.   Moms are always so busy, especially in New York City ("NYC"), so it was a nice and fun treat for hectic moms to be able to meet other NYC moms as well.   All at the fabulous, stylish and beautiful Eileen Fisher boutique store in Soho.

Guests consisted of mostly busy NYC moms who are usually consumed with taking care of their children, husbands and/or other family members - because being a mom is a "48 hours a day" job!   Well, finally this was an event that was all about moms!    NYC moms were pampered with beauty and spa services such as, but not limited to, a hand and/or neck and shoulder massage; hair consultation and touch up with an Aveda hair consultant.  As you can see from the slide show, Danny - a professional hairstylist and make up artist from Carsten Salon in Union Square, NYC - did a fabulous job with Jenny's hair!  It was a rainy day, so he transformed her dull head of hair into a full head of silky, shiny, soft and big, beautiful, bouncy curls!  Aveda makeup artists were also present to give mini makeovers. They were well prepared with Aveda's entire make up line.  

Darcy Howard, an expert stylist shared her first rate, professional style advice.   Guests entered a raffle for a chance to win a fantastic prize from Eileen Fisher and a $150 Aveda shopping spree with a personal consultation.   Guests also received a stylish violet Eileen Fisher totebag, which came with a gift certificate for a complimentary professional haircut at Carsten Salon at Union Square, NYC and a gift certificate redeemable at a local Aveda store for a free tea ritual, free hair consultation, free hair care experience, a free stress relieving hand ritual, a free stress relieving neck and shoulders ritual or a make up ritual, and 2 free custom samples of shampoo and conditioner!  What a fabulous, generous, event - so full of wonderful, luxurious indulging treats for the busy NYC mom!
