Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli teamed up for a concert series in the U.S. last June. They went there just to perform in front of their fans not knowing that they will become a couple someday. As you all know, they are the subject of conversation in social media today, Oct. 4, 2013 because of an article from philstar.com saying they are now officially a couple.
The article also said that Mommy Divine Geronimo allowed Matteo Guidicelli to court her daughter, Sarah Geronimo. Philstar.com did not reveal the identity of the writer and its sources, but because of credibility, the fans and supporters of the pop princess did not questioned the report.
Going back to Mommy Divine, she once said "I want a non-showbiz guy for Sarah Geronimo." She was forced to say that during her live interview with Aiai Delas Alas in the defunct musical variety show "Sarah G, Live." She became the target of criticism after the interview, her critics said, she should allow her daughter to be happy because she is not getting any younger.
Mommy Divine didn't fight back, she remained calm and humble despite the malicious reports instead of talking to her critics. She absorbed and simply accepted the tirades thrown to her by her detractors in print and social media. That was a year ago, and like what they said, everything happens for a reason. Today, reports said Mommy Divine allowed Matteo Guidicelli to court her daughter, and even though the reports are not confirmed yet, a lot of people especially popsters are thanking her for the support and understanding.
