A Garfield woman went after a teenaged boy with a machete and then called a female “companion” — who joined in the beating — after finding him at home with her 15-year-old daughter, a North Jersey web site is reporting
The women took the teen’s sneakers before finally letting him leave after the mother found him hiding in the bathroom, Garfield Police Capt. Darren Sucorowski told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
The 15-year-old boy’s mother called police and then took him to the hospital, where he was treated for bruises on his arm, after Tuesday night's incident the captain said yesterday.
Mugshots were released today of the two women arrested: the mother, Alexandra Vargas, 32, and her friend, Shaina Carter, 30, of the Bronx.
The two teens were together in the house when Vargas “came home unexpectedly,” Sucorowski said. READ MORE....
