Now that the weather is changing, have you checked your kids' closets? How are those boots and coats fitting? Need some long-sleeve shirts and jeans too?

Mom-to-mom sales are the perfect place to find gently used clothing at a fraction of the price you'd pay at a department store. Pay a small fee to get in (usually $1 or $2) and shop moms' booths for bargains on clothes, toys, baby gear and other kid-related merchandise.

On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., there's a sale at Grandview Elementary School in Livonia, located at 19814 Louise, south of Eight Mile Road and west of Middlebelt (behind Clanceville High School). Admission is $1, and strollers are welcome. There are 35 tables to shop. All accept cash only.
