A woman visiting her son in a New York jail passed drugs to him by French kissing him, according to a Feb. 7 New York Daily News report.
Authorities say 54-year-old Kimberly Margeson, allegedly hid two Oxycodone pills in her mouth and passed them on to her son 30-year-old William Patridge when they kissed during a jail visit last week. Margeson was arrested and charged with a felony drug count and a misdemeanor count of promoting prison contraband.
She reportedly pleaded not guilty to the two charges and was released on a $2,000 bail. Her son Patridge remains in jail on unrelated felony weapon charge, and is now charged with a misdemeanor count of promoting prison contraband.
A Yates County Sheriff's Department report said Margeson put the pills into her mouth before visiting the jail. The report reads in pertinent part, “She then passed two pills from her mouth to her son's mouth when she kissed him.” Police said they do not know whether tongues were used to facilitate the drug exchange and have not disclosed how the drugs were subsequently discovered.
