A Georgia mom shot an intruder five times after hiding her children, according to a Jan. 6 My Fox 8 report. When Paul Ali Slater broke into the Loganville mother's home, she hid her twins, and shot him five times in the face.
Wow! That must have been difficult for this mom to deal with, but she did it, and now she and her twins are safe. She hid her children in a crawlspace, and hid in a closet with a .38 revolver. Meanwhile, Paul Ali Slater rummaged through the house, and then opened the closet where the mom was hiding.
Turns out it was a bad day for Paul Ali Slater. The mom fired six shots, and five of those hit him in the face. After shooting him, the mom and her twins ran to a neighbor's house. Amazingly, Paul Ali Slater tried to escape to his car, but he did not make it. He is expected to live even after being shot five times by the mother.
The mom's husband Donnie Herman said,
“My wife is a hero. She protected her kids. She did what she was supposed to do as responsible, prepared gun owner."
She certainly is. What quick thinking! If she had not acted the way she did, it is possible that she or her children would have been harmed.
