Mom scolds daughter on Facebook for bullying

A Milwaukee mom posted a video on Facebook in hopes to teach her 12-year-old daughter a lesson according to CNN on February 21, 2014. In the video, Lorraine Walls tells her daughter to respond to her when she says "Tell them that you can't be on Facebook," "I can't have a boyfriend" and "I'm reading my bible."

The 12-year-old girl allegedly used Facebook as a tool to plot a fight and bully other people. The mom said that her daughter had already been suspended from school once for engaging in a fight. The girl was also not suppose to be talking to boys online or have a Facebook page. So the mom decided to play hard ball and post a video on the girl's Facebook page.

In the video, the mom can be heard saying "The next time that she's on Facebook and I catch her on Facebook, I'm beating the hell out of her". But she changed her tune during an interview with a reporter and said "I'm not out to hurt my daughter, I want her to live. I want her to be somebody" said the girl's mom Lorraine Walls.

What are your thoughts? Do you think the mom did right by embarrassing her on Facebook?
