A couple is looking forward to celebrating Christmas with triplets after losing four babies. The new mom and dad from Mansfield, U.K. are celebrating their first Christmas with a baby, but not just one, or even two, they have three. The new parents have triplets, according to The Inquisitr on Dec. 16.

Anna and Nick Mitchell have gone through four pregnancies and each time they would lose the baby as Anna would have an ectopic pregnancy. This means the baby develops in the fallopian tube instead of the womb. A baby can’t survive in a fallopian tube, so they lost these babies.

One of her fallopian tubes needed to be removed due to the pregnancies. At the same time Anna was losing her mother to cancer. After she lost her last baby, her mother died. Anna’s mom left her a gift, she had a substantial amount of money willed to her. This was enough for Anna to go through IVF treatments to help her get pregnant and carry the baby.

The first attempt was successful until it was found that once again she had an ectopic pregnancy. The couple knew they had one more attempt left in them and the money now to do so. Finally it was a complete success. Anna was not only carrying one baby, but three. She had triplets and this is the first Christmas that the couple will enjoy the holiday with children.
