Model and actress Molly Sims announced her pregnancy on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 via her own website. She and her husband are obviously thrilled about their unborn baby as Sims described their feelings on her blog:
"Today, I am absolutely, positively, downright over the moon to announce that we are pregnant! There are simply no words to describe the feeling… I finally get what they mean when they say pregnant women GLOW.
Our little bundle of joy is a honeymoon baby, due at the end of June. A first pregnancy is a nerve-wracking experience of course, but mostly we are just thrilled and excited. We can’t wait to meet him or her."
If Molly Sims and her husband do know the sex of the baby, they're not sharing that information at this time.
So, what is the actress, model and host of Project Accessory wearing during her first trimester? People magazine recently reported: "Dressed casually in workout pants and sneakers, a four-months-pregnant Sims, 38, barely showed a bump as she shopped for groceries in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on Jan. 4, just days before she and husband Scott Stuber announced her pregnancy."
By the way, remember when Molly Sims attended the March of Dimes' 6th Annual Celebration of Babies Luncheon at The Beverly Hills Hotel on December 2, 2011 in Beverly Hills, California? That's her in the photo on the upper left wearing a strange combination of wispy off-white ankle-length dress, granny boots and boxy black blazer. It all makes sense now; she was obviously hiding a tiny baby bump under all that gauzy fabric.
Guess who's also pregnant. If you haven't heard, American Idol finalist Brooke White also announced her baby bump on her blog Brookie Babble.
What do you think: should pregnant women like Molly Sims hide their baby bumps under yards of loose-fitting fabric, or swaddle the bump in spandex and let the world see it grow? Your comments are welcome.
