In early February, news came out that Mojito Cigar Lounge in Cave Creek was returning after being part of Churchill's Fine Cigars for approximately eight months. Bill Niederer, the store's original owner was returning, and the store would be regaining some of the look and feel of its previous incarnation.
Just over a month since the announcement, Niederer is ready to officially celebrate the grand re-opening of Mojito Cigar Lounge with a party this Saturday, March 9 from 1 - 5 pm.
The event will feature specials on cigars from A.J. Fernandez, a noted manufacturer who produces lines including San Lotano and Pinolero. Budz Bedwan, the local sales rep from the company will be on hand to discuss the cigars with customers.
Niederer has been redecorating and rearranging the store since re-acquiring it in early February. While it was part of Churchill's Fine Cigars, it went under some significant changes, including being halved in size, as it had previously occupied two suites. All of the Caribbean style decoration that adorned the walls was removed, though Niederer hung onto almost all of it as part of the sale.
One other change is the return of the private members lounge in the back of the store. Niederer is offering humidified cigar lockers for rental as part of the lounge membership, as well as day passes for customers.
