A North Korean propaganda video surfaced Tuesday that uses footage from the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC shooter, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3", to depict a missile strike on the United States.
The video found by LiveLeak and Kotaku is titled "Aboard the Galaxy" and was uploaded by North Korean propaganda agency Uriminzokkiri. It depicts a man's dream sequence of a North Korean missile being launched into space before striking a U.S. city. Eerily, an instrumental version of the feel good song "We Are The World" plays in the background.
The footage taken from "Modern Warfare 3" begins at approximately the 2:05 mark of the video and is taken from one of the CGI cut-scenes in the game depicting an attack on New York City. The propaganda video shows a U.S. flag draped over the city with the caption, "Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing. It seems that the nest of wickedness is ablaze with the fire started by itself."
The video ends with the man waking up believing that the dream will "surely come true." The video then says, "Despite all kinds of attempts by imperialists to isolate and crush us... Never will anyone be able to stop the people marching toward a final victory."
As Kotaku points out, The Guardian is reporting that a North Korean nuclear test is "imminent".
