This years 12th annual CCBC Women's Expo is being held on March 16th and 17th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is sure to be the best one yet! With hundreds of representatives from women owned and operated businesses, vendors, speakers, life coaches, career opportunities, and more, this event is one that you won't want to miss!
Each year this event attracts women of all ages and backgrounds. What brings these women together is a desire to empower other women and encourage each other to not only survive, but to thrive in the business world.
Being a mom is one tough job. We work endless hours, juggle countless responsibilities, and we don't even get a paycheck. Why do we moms do what we do? Because we love our families and there is no job more rewarding than raising children.
There was a time when we women were asked to choose whether we wanted to be home with our children, or whether we wanted to be a career woman. This is not the case any more.
Mothers staying home with their children used to be the norm. Women were in the home and men were in the workplace. Times changed and women began to thrive in the workplace as well. Daycare became ever more popular, and it was more common than not for children to have two working parents.
Guess what ladies! Times have changed again. We no longer have to choose whether we want a career or to raise a family. We can do both. There are no limits to our success and this is our time to shine!
