Recently, Celebrity Cruises hosted a pop-up restaurant at The Kitchen in Midtown Manhattan. The dining room and entrance were decorated with sea blue lighting to create the feeling of being on a cruise ship. The evening began with cocktails created by Master mixologist Junior Merino, which included a champagne infused concoction called Coming Up Roses as well as a tequila based cocktail called El Angel. Diners at the venue then had the opportunity to enjoy three courses, which included a flavorful ricotta cavatelli, a savory venison loin dish, and a decadent Valrhona chocolate cake. John Suley, Celebrity’s own James Beard-featured chef led the meal preparations in the kitchen.
The dining experience truly captured the high level of attention and fine cuisines that are featured on the Celebrity Cruise line. It transported the diner to a fine restaurant as opposed to an ordinary, standardized dining hall. Looking forward to enjoying this dining experience again on one of Celebrity Cruises’ ships!
