It's wedding time on the season 5 “Modern Family” finale. Cam and Mitch are preparing for the big day, but of course there is chaos ahead. Will they ultimately get hitched? Will they be back in the fall showing off their wedded bliss with season 6 of the show? On Wednesday Entertainment Weekly shared some “Modern Family” spoilers that fans won't want to miss.

Wednesday night airs part 2 of the big wedding, and it is filled with great laughs and pure chaos. At the same time, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Mitchell, teases that there will be real emotion throughout the finale as well. His “Modern Family” spoilers indicate that viewers will see Cam and Mitch exchange vows and end up truly wed, but that doesn't mean it'll be bland or simple. As the season 5 finale continues, viewers will see Mitch and Cam's first dance too.

TV Guide notes that this “Modern Family” wedding is the first same-sex TV couple wedding since California legalized same-sex marriage. While clearly the big wedding is the main focus of the season 5 finale, that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of other fun components via other characters as well. TVLine teases “Modern Family” spoilers that the wedding guests will get restless as the chaos leading up the wedding ensues. In addition, Claire will be completely exhausted while Mitch and Cam deal with some frustrations.

Season 5 wraps up on ABC on Wednesday, May 21, but the show will be back in the fall. The network has ordered season 6 of “Modern Family,” which of course fans are thrilled to know. While viewers will have to wait until the fall to see what comes next, it sounds as if “The Wedding” will give them plenty to enjoy in the meantime. There will be highs and lows as well as laughter and tears as the family gathers together for this monumental event.
