'Modern Family' actress Sarah Hyland signs as face of Heart Calgon (Photos)

Calgon is aiming for a younger demographic, announcing today, Feb. 22, that New York native, Sarah Hyland, Haley of “Modern Family”, has signed on as the fresh young face of Heart Calgon, a bold, fun and new collection from Calgon that embodies trendy fragrances to suit every personality, according to a recent press release.

The 22-year-old actress from ABC’s “Modern Family” will begin shooting Calgon’s new bath and body care campaign this month and Sarah Hyland is thrilled to be part of the “Take Me Away” brand.

Calgon, the iconic brand famous for its tagline, “Take Me Away!” will debut Heart Calgon nationwide this spring, a new collection of fragrant bath and body care products targeting a fresh generation of young women.

According to Bob Bailey, CEO and President of Ilex Consumer Products Group, “Modern Family’s” Sarah Hyland, a beauty enthusiast, exemplifies the spirit and style of the latest bath and body care line from Calgon.

Sarah embodies the attitude of Heart Calgon and its fun, bold approach to life. We wanted to introduce Calgon to a new generation of women who are at a critical juncture between teen life and adulthood, discovering who they are, trying new beauty products as they flirt with style and ways to express themselves. Sarah Hyland is a natural fit to reach these women through fragrance and introduce them to a new brand.

Heart Calgon’s multimedia campaign will kick-off this spring and highlight the actress in a series of online videos as she portrays the personalities of the line’s individual fragrances from the dreamy spirit of “Fresh Start,” to the “Sweet Crush” girl next door. These vignettes will be posted live on the brand’s website and hub of the campaign, www.HeartCalgon.com, as well as the brand’s social media sites, with a print promotion debuting later in the spring.

The Heart Calgon campaign featuring Sarah Hyland is aimed at a new generation of women with fabulous fragrances such as Sweet Crush, a luscious blend of fresh fruits, dewy grapefruit and seductive peony that will leave him craving for more, Fresh Start, a dreamy blend of crisp apple, jasmine petals and fresh water lily that makes a subtle, but lasting statement, Rock Steady, a thrilling mélange of wild berries, tempting passion fruit and amber intended for bending all the rules and Hot Date, an enticing blend of creamy vanilla, sparkling pear and exotic floral that pulls out all the stops for Heart Calgon’s Body Mist, Shimmer Mist, Body Lotion and Exfoliating Body Wash.

The products from Heart Calgon are currently on shelves at select Walgreens locations and will launch nationally this spring.
