Beautiful model Courtney Bingham married bassist Nikki Sixx in Los Angeles, California on March 15, 2014 according to Contact Music. The wedding was attended by 130 guests who were treated to an unusual theme of 'gothic rock meets French countryside' according to E! Online which has some of the first images of the bride's gown. Be sure to click on the link. Bingham and Sixx finally tied the knot after being together for three years.
For her big day Courtney selected a somewhat classic but dramatic gown inspired by the Dior Couture Oscar 2013 design worn by actress Jennifer Lawrence. Courtney's gown was custom-designed through her aunt's bridal shop called Janene's Bridal Boutique in Northern California. The strapless dress featured stunning top pleating which was also incorporated into the back layering over the train of the gown. There were lots of tiny fabric covered buttons that ran down the back which added to the romantic feel of the design. If you recall, the gown worn by Lawrence had no pleating but was also strapless with a stunning layered back that moved into the train.
Courtney accented her gown with multiple strands of small pearls and she carried tight bouquet of pink flowers in many shades. She chose to wear her hair down softly which was quite a bit different then the look Lawrence selected for the Academy Awards. Courtney's overall look suprised me quite a bit because it was very feminine and simple and certainly not goth.
This is the third marriage for the Nikki Sixx. Let's hope they make beautiful music together.
