1. How did it all start?

Professionally It started for me in 2010. I’d always loved and been a part of the music scene regardless of genre but in 2010, I made some decisions that put me in a spot where I couldn’t turn back. I have no regrets about that either! So I put myself back through school (for audio engineering at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences), interned in New York at various studios for the next couple years, while writing and playing open mic nights. Basically every time I hit a milestone I wanted to top it.

2. What are your Passions ?

Life in general is a passion, being able to enjoy the life you lead day to day. I'm passionate about my friends that are artists as well - Their creativity and feedback helps me develop my own sound.

3. Advice to musicians/artists.

Be a leader to your music. Find ways that will help you grow and gain confidence in what you love to do and network! You can never have enough connections in this industry!

4. Favorite things about music.

The sense of “no boundaries”. And the way music hits you.... Certain songs bring about certain motions either intentionally or not and thats beautiful - the really talented artists have the ability to harness those motions and show in their music.

5. When you are not making music what are you doing for fun?

Catching up on sleep! Haha, I enjoy getting outside and hike or travel. I'm a big fan of martial arts, so I take classes any chance I get.

6. Who are your influences

Black Star, A Tribe Called Quest, Notorious BIG, Skyzoo, Action Bronson, Aesop Rock, Dilla, Pharoah Monch, Knightz, Onemike, Harveyuncouth.

7. If you had the opportunity to start over, what would you differently and why.

I would start doing this (music) earlier!

8. Tell me about your new projects and which direction you are heading.

My next EP is called “Ursa Major”. It’s a very different type of album, so that makes it hard to classify. I really enjoy this one from a producer standpoint and from a listener standpoint. It’s cohesive as a solid listen through. There's a story within the content as well. Currently I’m working with a company from Boston Massachusetts, MLD Productions in order to bring this story to life.

9.What are some of your greatest challenges in your business?

Getting paid haha! Being represented in the right way is a challenge mainly because the rap and hip hop community is so saturated with artists and opinions… Sometimes the only thing to do is block it all out and focus on your own path.

10. When have you been most satisfied in your life?

On stage performing. This is the greatest feeling!

11. Tell me about a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your career.

This next album is going to be that moment for me.

12.What's your superpower, or what's your spirit animal?

People tell me i have the ability to make complicated things seem very simple. My spirit animal is a Bengal tiger.

13. In your own words, how would you describe"Music From The Heart”

Honest. Real.
