"Bob Mizer & Tom Of Finland" will make its debut at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles on Nov. 2. The exhibition's subject is of the post-war gay culture in the twentieth century. More details can be found here.
Touko Laaksonen, also known as "Tom of Finland", focused on drawings and books, while Mizer's works include films, photographs and his magazine Physique Pictorial. The exhibition focuses on the past give decades of the artists' life and their influence in society and culture as it started to shift its attitude on homosexuality.
