The Mobile SPCA has been a no-kill humane society since 1885. They are dedicated to promoting the humane treatment as well as fostering the adoptions of healthy and friendly animals. They are also a non-profit organization that is willing to do everything they can to help homeless animals become pets in loving homes.
Now the Mobile SPCA is sponsoring a miniature golf tournament to help save more homeless pets. This is the second year they are promoting “Putt for Mutts”. Playing miniature golf is a fun way to enjoy an evening out with the family.
The event will be held on November 7 from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. There will be door prizes and prizes for best team, best adult, best kid, most holes in one as well as second and third place too. Goody bags will be handed out. During the time you are enjoying yourselves you can take a break and enjoy a delightful cookout dinner. Beer and wine will be available for those who want more than soft drinks with their meal.
The tournament called “Putt for Mutts” will be held at the Funntasia Family Fun Center located at 5103 Girby Road in Mobile, AL. The cost per person is $15. If you come in groups of 4 the cost for team admission is $50.
Get your tickets now and remember to mark your calendars so you don’t miss out on a fun evening with the family while helping the animals at the shelter.
