Mobile making paying property taxes easier in many markets

Property taxes are not due in Pierce County, WA again until April 30th 2015, but next year making payments will be easier than ever.

The county is now offering property owners the option to utilize Point & Pay, a subsidiary of North American Bancard, to process their payments. Point & Pay can be used online or over the phone and can process credit cards, debit cards, and electronic checks.

This partnership is expected to ease the congestion and wait time at the county’s Tacoma office, particularly around tax time. It is also a move in the right direction when speaking of offering property owners the most current and up-to-date options for paying their property taxes.

Pierce County is not the first government agency or office that has partnered with Point & Pay to process payments. They have well over 1,000 clients around the nation—totaling over 2,500 new payment solutions. This includes payment solutions for utility companies, licenses, taxes, registration fees, etc.

Point & Pay was named one of America’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2013 by Inc. Magazine due to their secure payment processing, and wide range of payment solutions.
