Mobile Legal Help Center heads to Crown Heights

Need a will, power of attorney, or immigration help? No problem! The Mobile Legal Help Center will be stationed in Crown Heights on Feb. 25 at the Hebron French-speaking Seventh-day Adventist Church, courtesy of Council Member Jumaane Williams.

The Center is a partnership between the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) and the New York State Courts' Access to Justice Program that provides free civil legal services to New Yorkers in need, regardless of immigration status.

Anyone in need of legal assistance is welcome to stop by on Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attorneys will provide assistance with employment authorization, adjustment of status, citizenship and naturalization, asylum, removal defense, family/relative petitions, wills. health care proxies, guardianship, and powers of attorney.
