Mobile Fire Rescue Department MDA Boot Drive

The Mobile Fire Rescue Department was out at local intersections throughout the city this weekend collecting money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The fire crews and their trucks were split up into groups and were scheduled to collect money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association throughout the day with the last group rapping up the fundraiser at 5:00PM.

The crew of Ladder Truck 5 was the last group of the day on 03/09/13 at the intersection of Airport Blvd and Schillingers Rd to collect money for the MDA Boot Drive.

After two hours of collecting money at the intersection of Airport Blvd and Schillingers Rd for the Muscular Dystrophy Association the crew members of ladder truck 5 had collected over a thousand dollars in cash not including the change that had not been counted.

The Mobile Fire Rescue Department usually collects money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association at least once a year.
