“Mob Wives” ran for three successful seasons and now the show is back with a twist. “Mob Wives: New Blood” has been on the air for a little over a month and already Alicia DiMichele Garofalo is the break out star. The season has been picked up for 12 episodes, and Garofalo is set to earn eight thousand dollars an episode. According to a Jan. 3 report from NY Daily News, Alicia DiMichele Garofalo is looking at a fine of $96,000 to cover her earnings on the show. The prosecutors are using her as an example claiming that she is glorifying organized crime.

Alicia DiMichele Garofalo is married to Eddie Garofalo Jr. and they both were arrested on similar charges. Garofalo Jr. was sentenced to prison in Dec. 2013, and Alicia will learn her fate on Jan. 6. Right now there could be jail time, restitution, and the possible $96,000 fine. The Garofalo’s have children together and if they both end up in prison, the children will be left alone. Throughout the filming of “Mob Wives: New Blood,” Garofalo has not buckled under the pressure but fans can tell she has been dealing with it in stride.

There is plenty more drama to come this season on “Mob Wives: New Blood.” If Alicia DiMichele Garofalo does get sentenced to prison, the show may still go on. The drama that follows this group of women definitely has fans coming back each week. New episodes appear on VH1 Thursday nights.
