Moët & Chandon will, for the first time ever, be ringing in 2014 as the official champagne of Times Square New Year’s Eve! To celebrate this new partnership, Moët will unveil a larger than life, 11-foot bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial, today, December 10, bringing the glamour of champagne to some of the most iconic locations in NYC.
The first stop will be at the W New York – Union Square before making its way to Chelsea Market, and many more locations through Manhattan, finishing its journey in Times Square just in time for the big celebration. As part of this bottle tour, Moët & Chandon will launch an exciting social media program that encourages people to toast to what mattered most in 2013 and to celebrate hope for 2014. Along the way, people will be invited to pose for a photo with the bottle and create a virtual toast to upload to social media and share with their family and friends. Several virtual toasts from both the Big Bottle tour and from the Moet Facebook app will be featured during the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration on 7 giant video screens including the one atop One Times Square, directly below the New Year’s Eve Ball.
