For those unaware, the former Director April Todd-Malmlov of MNSure (Minnesota's version of @Obamacare) recently resigned (likely sacked) for, among other things, taking a weeklong vacation during the troubled roll out of MNSure. The State's MNSure website experienced many technical difficulties similar to those of the Obamacare website.
MNsure shakeup: Executive Director April Todd-Malmlov out, as problems and political pressure persist http://t.co/ofkPi9NL26
Governor Mark Dayton chose to replace for MNSure Director April Todd-Malmlov with the Assistant Commissioner of Health care at DHS, Scott Leitz.
New MNsure CEO apologizes, pledges progress on health exchange problems http://t.co/0AW87c6S80
But with this new, Progressive Educated Elites gobblety-gook, it’s hard to know who made the decision. All of these new groups and boards seemed to be deliberately set up to prevent transparency and accountability. Yet ultimately, all signs point to Governor Dayton having the definitive say as to who would be the Interim Director and/or the Permanent Director of Minnesota's MNSure.
And with that understanding, we must ask did Governor Mark Dayton overlook Mr. Scott Leitz's involvement in this apparently criminal activity as reported by Minnesota's KSTP TV 10/08/2013?
Amplatz Medicaid Cuts Exemption (by Scott Leitz) Raises Questions http://kstp.mn/6p6jp
Quoting directly from the printed version of said KSTP report:
"Several State employees blew the whistle on an agreement Leitz seemingly made mostly on his own, according to a DHS internal investigation."
KSTP TV reported further on this matter on 12/18/2013 and 12/19/2013:
Interim MNsure Chief (Scott Leitz) Addresses Conflict of Interest Questions http://t.co/Xdzlyd2vkv
Again quoting directly from the printed version of said KSTP report:
"Leitz, the assistant commissioner at DHS, brokered an illegal deal that allowed Amplatz Children's Hospital to receive $3 million it was not entitled to."
In this instance, it appears Minnesota's Major Media, in the form of KSTP TV, fulfilled its 4th Estate duties to WE THE PEOPLE. It has made the public aware of information that is important in WE THE PEOPLE understanding the workings of our government.
With this knowledge, the only question left for WE THE PEOPLE is whether Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton is unaware of or just ignoring these Conflicts of Interest and this transgression of the public trust in appointing and/or allowing Mr. Scot Leitz to remain the Interim Director of MNSure? (Presumably Mr. Leitz’s hat is in the ring for the permanent position)
It is seemingly impossible that Governor Mark Dayton was not aware and remains unaware of Mr. Scot Leitz's conflicts of interests and transgressions against the public trust. And that seems to leave only one possible explanation for his failure to remove Mr. Leitz from any position in government.
And with that, we go back to that initial thought this writer asked you to hold; Did Governor Dayton just bitch slap all Minnesotans?
In certain neighborhoods, certain individuals establish a position of dominance through various acts of violence and/or intimidation. Often these displays of power are directed at persons who have already displayed the appropriate submissiveness. Yet the actor again displays another act of dominance to reinforce and/or enhance the submissiveness of their target audience. In this case, Governor Dayton seems intent on demonstrating that his decisions will defy all likely criticism.
In this present context, Governor Mark Dayton's brazen promotion and refusal to dismiss Mr. Scot Leitz appears to this writer to be a bitch slap to WE THE PEOPLE, the citizens of the State of Minnesota. In bold defiance of any expectation of integrity Minnesotans might expect, Governor Dayton has promoted rather than dismissing Mr. Lietz.
Really, Governor Dayton? There are no other candidates for this position with fewer conflicts of interest and greater integrity than that displayed by Mr. Scott Leitz? Or is Mr. Leitz getting rewarded? Perhaps Amplatz has agreed to make a tidy Campaign Contribution to the Governor in exchange for being able to keep the $3 Million it defrauded the taxpayers of? Regardless of the specifics, this promotion (temporary or permanent) appears to be one of those of the perverse meritocracy this writer has previously written about. Here is an example of one these previous writers’ previous articles on the topic of perverse meritocracy:
Tyranny & the 2 major political party nominating committee http://t.co/oqg0hlSCIb
If WE THE PEOPLE of the State of Minnesota allow our elected officials to appoint persons such Mr. Leits to trusted positions, we are just emboldening them to further injustice by signaling to them that we will not stand up for ourselves. In other words, no response to Governor Dayton’s bitch slap will be interpreted as his having successfully cowed or tricked rank and file Minnesotans into submission.
This writer suggests that if we are going to take our country back, restore the constitution and restore integrity to our government, we must draw a line in the sand. How much more clearly can it appear that a government officials who has acted contrary to the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE, is being further promoted instead of punished by firing and/or criminal charges?
Elected Officials cannot be allowed to think that WE THE PEOPLE will accept and/or can be cowed/tricked into accepting persons of demonstrated questionable moral character in appointed positions. This is just one more example of the perverse meritocracy this writer has often written about. Government Bureaucrats, Elected Officials, Political Party Officials and Judges are often rewarded for betraying the best interests of WE THE PEOPLE rather than serving them.
Is there anyway that Governor Dayton could not have realize that the promotion of Scot Leitz after Mr. Leitz fraudulently gave away $3 Million of Taxpayer money, would not be seen as an affront to WE THE PEOPLE?
How little must Governor Dayton think of his constituents that he would force such an appointee upon WE THE PEOPLE? At the same time Governor Dayton is further demonstrating his true character by refusing to cooperate with the Minneapolis Police Chief in creating greater transparency and accountability of the Minneapolis Police Department. These to actions (and future reports this writer shall submit) should give cause for Minnesotans to question whether Governor Dayton's loyalties are with his constituents or are driven by some other considerations.
“I have always thought the actions of men the best interpreters of their thoughts.”
This writer encourages each of his readers to call, fax, email or snail mail Governor Dayton and let him know that WE THE PEOPLE deserve a better director of MNSure that the present one. Also write to your State Legislators and ask them why they have not objected. Mr. Leitz betrayed the public trust by illegally giving $3 Million of taxpayer money to Amplatz. Such behavior deserves firing not promotion and a greater opportunity to betray the public trust.
“When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty…”
Those were my thoughts.
Thank you, my fellow citizens, for taking your valuable time to read and reflect upon what is written here.
If what is written here rings true to you, perhaps you should contact your local elected officials and let them know. If you are afraid of repercussions, snail mail it anonymously and ask them to respond in the local paper or their own monthly/quarterly internet newsletter. Even if this article refers to something outside you geographic area, it still likely applies to your location. Remember all those taxpayer training junkets we taxpayers send the bureaucrats on? They all learn the same “livestock management” techniques to use on WE THE PEOPLE.
And that leaves WE THE PEOPLE with this conundrum: While our #Government works full time with compensation and funded with our money for the cause of #Tyranny; WE THE PEOPLE are forced to work part time without compensation for the cause of #liberty with what is left over of our time, money and energy.
Finally, this article is written with the same intentions as Thomas Paine http://ushistory.org/paine. I seek no leadership role. I seek only to help the American People find their own way using their own “Common Sense” http://amzn.to/kbRuar
