MMA ring card girl Poppy Thompson to grace the cage for Shock N' Awe

According to a Feb. 4 report from Babes of MMA, Poppy Thompson has been confirmed as ring card girl for the March 9 Shock N' Awe card in England.

Thompson, a 23-year-old brunette from Portsmouth, England, has appeared in FRONT Magazine, Practical Photography Magazine, Zoo Magazine, Babe Magazine, Elite Online Magazine, Your MMA Magazine, OK, Metro, Daily Star and New, along with top-notch MMA websites like Babes of MMA and Cage Potato.

MMA fans can check out Thompson on Twitter @poppy_rocks, or her official Facebook fan page.

Shock N'Awe XIII will be held at Mountbatten Centre in Alexandra Park, Portsmouth, Hampshire, United Kingdom.

"Shock n Awe is really getting known on the UK MMA scene for putting on top quality fights," said Shock N' Awe fighter Martin Sheridan. "Paddy Moore is a solid opponent, good all round fighter, and a south paw so I'm excited to be fighting him and solving these problems."

Shock N'Awe XIII features a stellar bantamweight scrap between Sheridan and Paddy Moore.

"I can't wait for my next fight on Shock N' Awe against Martin, this fight is exactly why I love fighting on this show," Moore said. "Martin is a tough opponent with a very good record, most of his fights haven't gone out of the first round, and neither have most of mine, so this has the makings of a don't blink fight for the crowd! Having Martin’s scalp on my record will be great for me and get me right back to winning ways. I stupidly lost my composure in my last fight because all I wanted to do was punch that guy in the face! This led me to making a ton of amateurish mistakes regarding my overall game which was a tough lesson, losing to someone not as good as me has been very hard to take, which is why I’m not looking past Martin."

Moore thinks a win over Sheridan puts him in line for a title shot in the near future.

"On paper he is the favourite so I`m going to give him the feeling I’m living with, I'm coming after him as a man on a mission, next year is my year and it all starts with this fight," Moore explained. "Then I’m looking to get a rematch against my last opponent on Shock n Awe which should get me in line to be the next contender for the British Bantamweight title, I want to bring that belt home to Gym01 where it belongs."
