MMA babe Jessica Boisseaux to host fundraiser for Special Olympics polar plunge

Colorado ring girl Jessica Boisseaux said on Jan. 19 in an exclusive interview with Long Island MMA Examiner Eric Holden that donations have already started to pour in for the Special Olympics fundraiser she will be hosting on Feb. 1.

Boisseaux explained that the items to be raffled off for charity include a Denver Nuggets NBA basketball jersey, an Anthony Pettis autograph, two shirts and an iPhone case from Island Tat, autographed Peyton Manning pictures and a one-year membership to Fusbox MMA.

Other items that will be raffled off include a training session with Maureen Riordan, photo sessions with elite photographers, a custom cake from Tori Black, V.I.P. cards to Ellis Automotive, sweat pants from Mass Destruction, an autographed shirt from Josh Cavan, a one-night stay at the Lumber Barron Inn, two tickets to the comedy murder mystery dinner at Lumber Baron Inn, a Jasminka Cive autograph, two tickets to a BJJ tournament and kickboxing lessons from a professional.

"More donations are rolling in!" Boisseaux said. "Thank you to Casey O'Day for donating a photoshoot valued at 200$ Seth Daniels for donating tickets to the next BJJ tournament, Lauren Sugihara for donating a month of kickboxing lessons, Ashley Chris Fiske for getting a donation to a salon, Blue Rose Tattoo for donating a 50$ gift card and Tori Black for donating a custom cake valued at 100$! Thank you guys the overwhelming support is so touching! Also, thanks to Island Tat Josh for donating two shirts and American Ground N Pound and Mass Destruction MMA Mike Laurita for donating some awesome sweatpants."

Boisseaux, Colorado's 2011 Ring Girl of the Year, is well-known for her charitable efforts. She works for multiple programs for kids with special needs, and also serves on the board for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

Boisseaux also volunteers for the Special Olympics and the Mile High Down Syndrome Foundation. In the summer, she is a camp counselor at a special needs camp. As you can see, her heart lies with lending a helping hand to gifted children.

"The Special Olympics is an organization that hosts competitive sports for kids with special needs. They host games three times a year along with various get togethers that are only funded by fundraisers," Boisseaux said. "I am hosting a fundraiser Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at Clavin's Bar and Grill in Parker, Colorado. We have a ton of donations that will hopefully raise money to go towards their fundraiser called the polar plunge. I have raised $140 and hopefully with this auction/ raffle on the Feb. 1, it will bring in more money for charity."

Those who wish to lend to assist Boisseaux with her charity work may get in touch with her on Twitter. Her official Twitter handle is @jpzoomer.

Clavin's is located at 17904 Cottonwood Drive in Denver, Colorado.
