MLK: Honoring the Legacy musical concert in North Bethesda

Did you know? Each year, approximately 2,000 people including Montgomery County officials and local press participate in our commemoration of the life and work of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

What: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Commemorative Committee and Montgomery County Executive, Mr. Isiah Leggett cordially invites you to attend the 2014 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Tribute and Celebration. "Honoring the Legacy: Celebrate, Serve, Remember."

Did you know? The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Birthday Tribute and Celebration is a multiracial program that engages diverse and talented performers and award honorees who serve their communities unselfishly.

Look forward to Saxaphonist, Mr. Brian Lenair and Band, local performers, Micheline Bowman of Fox 5 News, and elected officials Montgomery County. You should know this concert will run for approximately 90 minutes.

Who: Open to general public whereas, admission is free. Tickets required and will be available on Thursday January 2, 2014. Click here to reserve tickets or phone 301.581.5100 to reserve tickets beginning Jan. 2, 2013. Group Tickets should call (301) 581-5199.

According to press specs, "individuals unable to secure advanced tickets, a stand-by line will form outside the Music Center at 2 p.m. on the day of the performance. No lines may form before the designated time. At 2:45 p.m. all tickets are null and void and patrons in the stand-by line will be allowed entry subject to available seating."

When: Monday, January 20, 2014 at 3 p.m.
