The 2014 MLB Power Rankings for Week 10 are out and the Toronto Blue Jays have flown to the top of the chart. According to a Sportsline report on May 27, Toronto is currently riding an eight game winning streak and have taken over first place in the AL East and they are the biggest mover in the Week 10 Power Rankings - jumping up from No. 13 last week to No. 1 right now!

The Jays are 9-1 in their last 10 games, and veteran All-Star pitcher Mark Buehrle would be the 2014 Cy Young winner at this stage of the season. Buehrle earned his ninth win last night improving his record to a gaudy 9-1 on the 2014 season. Buehrle allowed four runs, but only three were earned, to win his fifth straight decision vs. the Rays.

Besides Toronto, the San Francisco Giants, LA Dodgers, Angels, White Sox and Cardinals are all teams on the rise since last Tuesday, while the Tigers, Reds, Yankees and Tribe have fallen off the pace a bit. Weekly Power Rankings are just like the stock market. Just because you are down right now, a lot can change in a week to 10 days, just look at Toronto.

The St. Louis Cardinals and LA Angels are right behind Toronto in the "who is red-hot" right now in MLB. Both the Cards and Angels are 7-3 in their last 10 games and have climbed towards the No. spot in this weeks rankings. St. Louis is just a team of consistency. Year in and year out these guys are always fighting for a division title and eyeing the October postseason. It is still early in the 2014 season, but it looks like they may be there again this year if they continue their hot play.
