The 2014 MLB live stream and TV coverage wraps up the second week of play when the Boston Red Sox take on the New York Yankees from the Bronx, New York. No matter how many times these two face off against each other the buildup is always huge. New York doesn’t like Boston, and the Red Sox nation does not care for the Pinstripes – period! It may be early in the season, but tonight's MLB live stream action will be just as intense as a late September battle.

According to a Sportsline report on April 13, the Yankees have taken two of the first three games in this four game set. New York will try to keep things rolling tonight when they send Ivan Nova (1-1, 8.68) to the mound to face Boston’s Felix Doubront (1-1, 9.00).

While both have struggled a bit in the early part of the season, both Nova and Doubront know that defeating their top rival tonight would be a big boost. The only question with these two starters is will they be around to earn the decision in the end?

After having yesterday off, Derek Jeter should return to the Yankee line up. Jeter has played well so far for New York and currently has a six-game hit streak. There is nothing more the New York faithful would love to see than the Yankees make a run at a World Series title in Jeter's final year, but for that to happen the pitching will have to tighten up.

At 5-7 on the season, Boston trails the first place Tampa Bay Rays by two games, while the Yankees are 1 game behind Tampa at 6-6. Las Vegas odds makers have the Yankees as a slight favorite tonight at -121 with the over/under total set at 9.

Fans will be able to catch all of the action for tonight’s game on ESPN national and streaming live online through WatchESPN beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST.
