The 2014 MLB live stream and TV schedule for April 6 will officially wrap up the first week of play, and what a week it was. Headed into today’s action, the Miami Marlins are 5-1 and in first place in the NL East, the Seattle Mariners lead the AL West at 4-1, and the Detroit Tigers are the only undefeated team remaining at 4-0. Today the Tigers have a shot at making the first week of play a perfect one as they wrap up a three game series vs. Baltimore.

According to ESPN on April 6, the Tigers will look to start 5-0 on the season when they send Justin Verlander to the mound vs. the Baltimore Orioles. The last time the Tigers started 5-0 was back in 2006. That year Detroit reached the World Series, but lost to St. Louis in 5 games.

Unlike the NFL, going undefeated in hockey, basketball and baseball is impossible of course, but don’t tell Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter that! He is aiming for it.

"Hopefully we go 162-0," said Hunter, who has gone 5 for 8 with two homers and six RBIs in the series. "It would be awesome."

The odds of the Tigers going 162-0 are astronomical, just like it would be for any MLB team. However the odds of starting 5-0 this afternoon are pretty good with Justin Verlander taking the mound.

Las Vegas odds makers have Detroit listed as the favorite at -160 with the over/under number set at 7.5.

Fans can catch all the action for today's game locally on FSN Detroit, and nationally on Extra Innings. The game is also streaming live online for free through MLB Extra Innings package.
