It may be the middle of winter, but it's time to think spring! The 2013 version of the popular video game "MLB 13: The Show" has named their seven possible candidates to appear on the cover, now it's up to the fans to decide.
The candidates competing for the cover spot are Miguel Cabrera (Tigers), Matt Kemp (Dodgers), Ryan Braun (Brewers), Andrew McCutchen (Pirates), Bryce Harper (Nationals), CC Sabathia (Yankees) and Buster Posey (Giants).
Voting got underway yesterday, Jan. 7, and as of Jan. 8, Andrew McCutchen leads, followed by Matt Kemp and the 2012 A.L. MVP Miguel Cabrera.
Okay, Tigers fans, it's time to vote early and often for Miguel Cabrera and keep the streak of Detroit sports players gracing video game coves going.
Last year Justin Verlander was on the cover of “MLB 2k12,” Calvin Johnson was on the cover of “Madden 13,” and Barry Sanders was on the cover of NCAA 13.
It won't be easy for Miggy to win, as he is going against some of MLB's most popular players.
