Tiffany is a victim of abuse and mistreatment; she crawled into the corner of her cage with her tail between her legs and her face hidden trying her best to be invisible.

Who says cats don't show their feelings?

According to her handlers at the Beaufort County Animal Shelter, Tiffany, a domestic medium hair mix, with the gorgeous, muted tortoiseshell coat can be held and petted, but she is very scared.

No one knows her past, but everyone would love to know she has a future.

This cat is also pregnant, which brings her rescue to an urgent need.

A Facebook page has been raising pledges to help with Tiffany's future expenses. Please click here to see how you can help.

For more information, email the shelter staff at animal.control@co.beaufort.nc.us.

Always refer to the Petango or ID number. For Tiffany, please refer to #0384.
