President Obama’s speech to schools will be released online Monday September 7. The controversy concerning the broadcast has been heated; with parents concerned the President will try to indoctrinate their children.

Some Districts, including districts in Missouri, have chosen not to show the broadcast in the classrooms. This was not intended as a mandatory broadcast for the nation’s school. And, in light of parental concerns, districts in Missouri, Texas, Illinois, Virgina and Minnesota have opted out of the broadcast.

The President’s speech will still be broadcast on the White House website and C-Span and noon EST on Tuesday.
