As a part of Tornado Awareness Month, the Jackson Weather Examiner will review severe storms that affected the state throughout the month of November.
On this date -November 12th:
In 1988, several storms became severe, producing a F-1 tornado in Hinds and Warren counties and some reports of high winds.
One person was injured in Lauderdale County.
The two tornadoes were responsible for property damages totaling $50,000.
