Bobby Bryant is (9-0) with 7 knockouts and he currently is sparring with one of the baddest fighters on the planet. Bryant seized upon the opportunity to spar and train with the legendary former world champion Ricardo Mayorga. The former world champ is getting ready for his March 12th fight Vs. Miguel Cotto and chose Bryant to assist him with his training.

This obviously works both ways as the young Bryant is preparing for his next fight which is also set for March 12th, in Louisiana. Bryant had a stellar amateur career winning numerous regional and state titles, and added Naional Jr Golden Gloves championship as well.

This young man survived a life threatening ATV accident and chose boxing as his way of coming back. Formerly trained by Buddy McGirt, he currently trains with his father John Bryant who has been there with him throughout his boxing career.

Bryant is fully aware of this opportunity, and does not take it lightly, " This is an amazing opportunity, it's fantastic. They are putting me in there ahead of other guys, and from what I am being told they like the work that I am giving him and I have done the best out of anyone in the gym."

Mayorga is very impressed with the young Bryant and shared his thoughts about him, " I love this kid, he comes forward and works hard."

Bryant is scheduled to fight on March 12th and looks forward to applying the things that he's learned with Mayorga, " When I spar Mayorga, I don't back up. Its all about working circles around the opponent, and I look forward to fighting on the 12th in Louisiana."

With just 13 months in the pro's he has already strung together 9 wins and his future is bright. At 18 years of age and working with a former world champion in Ricardo Mayorga, his future will only get better.
