Many fourth graders have projects this time of year to research one of our historic California Missions.  Mission San Juan Capistrano is the only mission here in Orange county and it is incredibly breathtaking. Though it is a ways south, it is well worth the trip.

Adult admission is 9.00 , Child's admission is 5.00, Children under 2 are free.  There are online coupons as well if you visit the website : http://missionsjc.com/

Upon entering this mission you get a map with an audio tour (with each paid adult).  This tour leads your throughout the mission and gives detailed history along the way.  This mission has been preserved well and is enjoyable for adults and children alike to walk through.

This mission provides an opportunity to experience an important part of not only our nation's, but California's history.  I encourage everyone to make a trip to the San Juan Capistrano Mission whether you have a child with a report to do or not.  You will be glad you did.
